FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BOSTON — October 15, 2026 — Junto Social, Inc. today announced the launch of Junto, a curated membership social club in Boston built around dinners, activities, and socials. Junto opened to members on October 1 after a month of preview events, and is now accepting applications at juntoboston.com.

Membership is by introduction. A current member vouches for an applicant, or applicants make the case for themselves.

Junto takes its name from the club Benjamin Franklin founded in Philadelphia in 1727 to argue well with people he respected, and from the Spanish junto, meaning "together." The premise is the same: a standing group of curious people who meet regularly and come to know each other well.

Founder and CEO Joe Lazzerini started Junto after a career in organizing and city government, including serving as Director of External Affairs for Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza. During the city's COVID-19 response, he helped organize vaccine clinics in its hardest-hit neighborhoods and saw firsthand how isolated people had become.

"Plenty of people in Boston have full calendars and still don't have a place where they feel known," said Lazzerini. "At Junto you sit down with five other people, get past the small talk, and then keep running into each other at the next dinner and the next social. That's how friendships actually form."

Lazzerini co-founded Junto with Dustin Snider and Fabio Corredor.

Junto members meet in three ways:

  • Dinners: six members at one table, with a few prompts to get the conversation started. Some nights a member leads the discussion; some nights an expert does.
  • Activities: curated experiences such as tastings, workshops, studio tours, morning hikes, and private museum tours.
  • Socials: the full membership together, so members see the people they've met at smaller tables and meet new ones.

Junto has no clubhouse. Events rotate through venues across Greater Boston, and the club partners with local businesses, including PickleBos in South Boston, where members play open pickleball for free.

Prospective members apply online or are referred by a current member. Applicants have a short conversation with the Junto team before an offer is extended. Dues apply.

Junto will celebrate its official launch on Sunday, October 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the West End Museum in Boston. Members of the media interested in attending should contact Joe Lazzerini at the information below.

Applications for membership are open now at juntoboston.com.
